Our properly seasoned firewood is made up of a blend of hardwoods that have been  dried to a moisture content of 20%. These hardwood logs are placed in drying cages after being chopped and split, allowing air to circulate within the wood. We monitor the moisture level on a frequent basis until the AMC (average moisture content) reaches 20%. The firewood is next passed through a rotating drum screener, which removes any undesired debris like sawdust, loose bark, and other small particles. The logs are then fed onto a conveyor belt, where any oversize pieces are removed, leaving only clean, dry firewood suitable for any medium-sized stove or open fire.
